Interlune is a space resources company based in Seattle, WA. We will provide resources from space to power a clean and sustainable economy on Earth and in space.

As a member of our technical staff, you won’t be siloed. We are looking for engineers and scientists from a wide variety of backgrounds to contribute to our mission. You will be matched to a team where your skills can make the most impact, with opportunities to work on:

  • Mechanical & Thermal Systems: Design, analyze, and test mechanisms and structures for our lunar harvester, from robotic components to thermal management systems that survive the harsh lunar environment.
  • Robotics & Automation: Develop the software and control systems that allow our hardware to operate with precision and autonomy on the lunar surface.
  • Systems Engineering: Help define the big picture, ensuring that all subsystems work together harmoniously from concept through to lunar operation.
  • Test & Integration: Get your hands dirty building and testing the hardware you and your team have designed, ensuring it’s robust enough for the journey to and operation on the Moon.
  • Modeling and Simulation: Build high fidelity models and analyses to support the design, test, and flight of your hardware.

Interlune is seeking graduates who are ready to take on immense challenges and own their work. The ideal candidate is a motivated, self-starter with a keen attention to detail and a foundation of strong technical rigor.

Currently, we are actively soliciting resumes to hire in early 2026.  If you graduated within the last 12 months, or plan to graduate in December, we will consider you for hiring in our first cohort in early 2026.  Any resumes received after November 12, will be considered for hiring in summer of 2026.

Required Qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's,Master’s or PhD degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, or a related technical field.
  • A strong grasp of engineering fundamentals and an eagerness to apply them to real-world, multi-disciplinary challenges.
  • Someone who is agile, willing to learn new skills, and can take on multiple roles as needed in a dynamic startup environment.‍
  • Attention to detail and a sense of urgency that results in high quality results that keep the mission moving forward.

Compensation range for on site WA state employees is:

Target Levels:

Level 1 Range: $77,400 - $116,000

Level 2 Range: $96,700 - $145,100

Paid Time Off:  Flexible PTO policy with paid company holidays.
